Thurrock Hammers are delighted to offer fans from across the globe the chance to own a truly unique piece of speedway memorabilia and an opportunity to support one of the sport’s own brightest young talents in his hour of need.
Mildenhall starlet Sam Norris suffered serious and significant injuries whilst competing at the British Youth Championships at Glasgow last month and he is currently recovering at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridgeshire.
The Hammers recent fixture at West Row gave fans their first opportunity to show support for Sam by making cash donations and purchasing specially made t-shirts and, as a club, we wanted to produce something truly special that could be auctioned to add to the fund efforts.
With the support of former Arena Essex legend Colin White at CW Race Products who designed, manufactured and supplied the item, we are proud to offer a truly one-off opportunity to purchase a race-ready Thurrock Hammers bib, signed by all the Mildenhall and Thurrock riders who rode in the NL Challenge on 30th June. All proceeds from the auction will go to Sam.
The auction will close at 5pm on THURSDAY 8th AUGUST 2019. There is a no reserve price for this bib as we are confident that the auction will attract significant interest.
The leading bidder (s) will, however, be advised as the auction progresses and the club will issue periodic information about the leading amount tendered so that fans can bid accordingly.
The winning bidder will be contacted on Friday 9th August 2019 and can choose between a signed bib worn by the Hammers team, or a signed bib complete with a special ‘We Support Super Sam’ decal, as shown in the images below.
