Hammers support the BHF100K
The BHF 100K campaign is set to kick off on September 1st, when The British Heart Foundation will be asking all participants to walk/run 100k in September to try to raise £100, per individual taking part, for lifesaving heart research.
We hope that this can be a fun way of getting people active to close out the summer.
Click here to view a PDF which shows how supporters can gain access to BHF 100K Strava Group, which is a supportive community with challenges to help spur people on towards their goal.
It also talks about some people who have done the 100k challenge in the past and gives links to how to set up a JustGiving page for this initiative.
Ultimately, the BHF 100K is an initiative which will help to fund research so that The British Heart Foundation can prevent more lives being lost to heart and circulatory disease in the future.
In the UK, someone dies from a heart or circulatory condition every three minutes.
That’s about the same time as it takes to make a cup of tea. Today, with your help, we can support the science and research that develops the treatments for cardiovascular diseases.
