Nathan to Captain The Hammers
Nathan Stoneman will Captain The Thurrock Hammers when they take on The Mildenhall Fen Tigers at West Row on the 30th June.
Operations and Commercial Director Russell Keetch commented:
“When Mark, Ian and myself discussed who should be appointed Captain for this fixture, it was a unanimous decision to appoint Nathan.
He showed incredible team spirit in the pits against Kent and demonstrated his desire to ride for us again. Nathan is an exciting rider especially at West Row and his track knowledge will be beneficial to the team as a whole”
Rider Support Packages:
Without income from hosting regular home fixtures, the Hammers need to raise funds to ensure we can keep the team on track.
We would like invite Hammers fans in particular and speedway supporters in general to join us for our fixture at Mildenhall on Sunday 30th June by purchasing a unique Rider Support Package.
In exchange for £40, each fan will get:
- Adult entrance to the meeting at West Row
- A Match day Programme
- A specially produced Thurrock Hammers Programme Board (hand delivered at West Row)
- A Message of Thanks on the club’s website
- Our undying thanks and appreciation!
The purpose of this initiative is to ensure that we can put together a competitive team and that all riders are paid, in full and on time, for the efforts they will make whilst wearing the famous Crossed Hammers.
